The memories of summer fade away with the sun’s sizzle. Backpacks and pumpkin flavored coffee replace bikinis and your favorite girly drink poolside. Hopefully, you made it one hell of a summer. As the leaves change, there’s no reason not to make this September one to remember.

USC…Fight On!

With the Olympics and some inspiring perfomances behind us, football kicks off and that long baseball season finally enters October. Who doesn’t love an entire weekend dedicated to beer, bone crushing hits, beer, fourth quarter comebacks, and beer (really though, lay off the alcohol; summer is only ten months away). So fall is here, and we expect a great one.

The question is who do you root for: the Champion or the Underdog?

Me? Give me greatness any day of the week. I want to see history made. There is nothing like seeing Serena Williams celebrate her fourth US Open tennis title at thirty years young. I root for Tom Brady to keep the dynasty alive and to see Peyton Manning back in action, throwing his 400th career touchdown. Cheers to Phelps being the most celebrated Olympian in history. Let’s just say, I am a fan of the best of the best.

When I see a successful person, an individual who is better than myself or the rest of their competition, it inspires me. The Michael Jordan’s, Steve Jobs’, and Ali’s are what gets me going, to bring my game to a higher level. Don’t be intimidated by someone who is creating the life they want. Put the work in, get motivated by them, and follow their actions. Bring it every day. Pain heals. Chicks dig scars. Glory lasts forever.

Now let me ask you again, are you for the Champions or the Underdogs? Give me greatness.

Sorry Underdog…
